Sam was signed from Bloemfontein Celtic before the season got underway but had to wait until last night to make his official debut for the club.
The 19-year-old completed the full 90 minutes and made a good impression on the German tactician.
“Sam made a good game. It’s not so easy I think to come in the team, in the starting line-up," he told SuperSport after the game.
I think it was not so easy for him. It was a long time ago, it’s the first game that he is playing now."
Zinbauer added that he was surprised by his side's fast start to the game, with Thembinkosi Lorch and Gabadinho Mhango scoring inside the opening 10 minutes.
“Yes, we started good in the match. I was very surprised. We improved. We’re happy now (that we’ve) won the next game. Now it’s time for regeneration and then the next game is coming."
