In preparing for their upcoming cup match against Orlando Pirates and the entire 2019/20 Absa Premiership season, Highlands Park are in search for defenders to bolster Coach Owen da Gama’s team.
The Lions of the North have conceded four goals from the two league matches they have played so far this season and are yet to win.

In an attempt to bolster the team, the club has welcomed defender Tshepo Tema. The 30-year-old Zebediela-born centre-back is currently a free agent, after parting ways with Free State Stars at the end of last season.
“Tshepo Tema is training with Highlands Park. He is one of the players looking to earn contracts with the club,” confirmed the source.

As reported by the Siya crew, another player that has been training with the Lions of the North is former Chippa United midfielder Mark Mayambela, while the former Bidvest Wits duo of Edwin Gyimah and Vuyo Mere have also been at the club for training.
The Lions of the North are scheduled to visit Pirates at the Orlando Stadium on Saturday for their MTN8 quarter-final match.
