Micho’s Hectic Weekend… New Job Confirmed

It involved a resignation and a sex scandal, and after touching down in Cairo following his Orlando Pirates exit, Milutin Sredojevic now been confirmed by his new club.
Pirates rocked South African football late on Friday night as they announced that the 49-year-old had resigned with immediate effect from the club after a decision was ‘taken unilaterally’ for him to move on, ‘based on reasons he has presented, which are of a personal nature’.
Micho stated to several media houses, including Soccer Laduma, that he was returning to Serbia to be with his sick mother as she battles breast cancer, with that thought to be his personal reasons for leaving.
Things became more complex though when the Sunday World reported that there was a case against the coach for ‘indecent exposure’ after he allegedly asked a 51-year-old woman to have sex with him.
With regards to the allegations against him, ‘Micho’ told the Siya crew, “This is a shame. My lawyers will be dealing with this. I have been the most respectful person, soldier and servant of the game. I don’t deserve this. It is baseless and unfair.”
Amongst all this, Zamalek’s President, Mortada Mansour, confirmed his appointment as the new head coach of Zamalek, but speaking to TimesLive about the links with that job, he said, “That is total nonsense about the other guy (Mansour). How is it mathematically possible to do the things in that way?”
Now though, after reports stated that the Serbian had landed in Cairo to apparently finalise his move to the Egyptian giants, it's been confirmed that he’s wasted no time in finding himself another job in the days after his departure from the Buccaneers as Zamalek today announced his appointment on their official website.
