After seven years on Pirates’ books, Shitolo has parted ways with the Soweto giants, as confirmed by the club on Wednesday.
The defender-cum-midfielder joined the Buccaneers in 2014 from Jomo Cosmos. The 31-year-old spent time on loan at Platinum Stars, Chippa United and three times at Golden Arrows.
With Bucs having confirmed the amicable parting of ways with Shitolo, the Giyani-born player has emerged as a transfer target for Sekhukhune United who have been busy reinforcing the squad since the start of the transfer window.
With Justice Chabalala having joined Sekhukhune on loan from Pirates, after rejecting a move to Chippa United, Shitolo could be set to join the defender at Babina Noko in the coming days.
