Former Orlando Pirates midfielder, Solomon Mathe, has spoken about how the Buccaneers can overcome Kaizer Chiefs to qualify for the final of the MTN8.
Pirates enjoy the advantage going into the second leg of their MTN8 semi-final match against arch-rivals at FNB Stadium on Sunday afternoon, having convincingly won the first leg fixture 3-0 at the Orlando Stadium last weekend.

Mathe believes that the Buccaneers could score more goals tomorrow to reach this year’s final of the prestigious competition convincingly.
“Pirates are going to the final. There is no way that Chiefs will come back as Pirates will score more goals with the quality players they have in the team. Pirates is strong in all departments, especially in midfield and that’s where I think the game will be won,” said Mathe.

“There’s no way that Chiefs will match Pirates in midfield with the quality they have of skillful and quick players. I see Pirates going to the final and winning the trophy. Chiefs are still trying to get their combinations right under their new coach and it’s going to be difficult for them to match Pirates with the form that they are enjoying,” the ex-Buccaneer added.
