Football agent Michael Ngobeni has lashed out at Orlando Pirates striker Justin Shonga.
The Siya crew has reported that P Management’s Karabo Mathang confirmed that she is the rightful representative of the Zambian international and not Ngobeni.
Speaking to the Siya crew, Ngobeni has questioned the 23-year-old's loyalty towards him.
“I don’t have to fight for Justin. I’m very happy for Karabo and Justin and they must work together. I respect Karabo and it’s all good. I scout players and at M Sport Management we never run out of players. I scouted Justin and there is a long story of Pirates and Sundowns that involves Justin which is my secret. I got in too much of trouble with Sundowns because of the same player. So it’s okay!” said Ngobeni.
“Can you imagine me fighting for Justin? We go to Africa and scout players and I don’t hijack players. I attend events and scouted Justin at a COSAFA tournament along with Talent Chawapiwa and Ronald Pfumbidzai. I have brought players here and must I now fight for Justin because there is interest in him? Justin is a good boy and he must enjoy working with his agent and I wish them all the best. I am known in Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanzania and everywhere else because I scout. I don’t have to fight for anybody, actually I wish them well. But what I want to say is that if the player is not honest to an agent, he will never be honest to any other agent and I will never blame Karabo,” he added.
As reported, Shonga has attracted interest from Portuguese outfit CS Maritimo.
