Orlando Pirates booked their spot in the CAF Confederation Cup group stages with a 4-0 aggregate victory over Jwaneng Galaxy in the play-off round.
Pirates head coach Josef Zinnbauer wholesale changes, with only Thulani Hlatshwayo and Linda Mntambo remaining from the side that won 3-0 in the first-leg in Gaborone.
Jean-Marc Mundele had a chance to open the scoring for the Buccaneers in the tenth minute after latching onto a rebound inside the box but his shot found the side-netting.
The contest was relatively open, as Galaxy came close to breaking the deadlock on the half-hour mark with a free-kick from the edge of the box that came off the post.
Mundele had a big chance to give Josef Zinnbauer's charges the lead on the stroke of half-time after exchanging passes with Austin Muwowo inside the box but he was denied by goalkeeper Ezekiel Morake from close range.
Pirates were on the front foot after from the break, as Mntambo finally broke the deadlock for them ten minutes into the second stanza with a calm finish after receiving a pass inside the box.
Muwowo came close to doubling the lead for Zinnbauer's men on the evening just after the hour-mark after charging his way towards the box but his thumping effort was parried away by Morake.
The Buccaneers kept on fashioning chances as Bongani Sam forced Morake into a double save in the dying minutes but the job was already done as the Soweto giants booked their spot in the group stages with a 4-0 aggregate victory.
The draw for the group stages will take place on Monday.
