Augustine Mulenga has sent a heartfelt message to Orlando Pirates on his way out of the club after more than two years with the side.
Mulenga was one of the players released by the Buccaneers as the club confirmed the list of eight exits this week.
In bidding farewell to the club, the Zambian international has penned an emotional message on his Instagram account thanking the Soweto giants for ‘the opportunity to live the dream’, and it reads as follows:
“Thank you so much Orlando Pirates for giving me the opportunity to live the dream of wearing this shirt, to play in Orlando stadium, to learn and enjoy one of the best leagues in Africa. Thank you for making me grow as a player and as a person. It was a good two and a half wonderful years that I'll never forget. Thanks to my colleagues, staff, fans and all the people who helped me reach this day and I’m so sad to leave but I have to face my new endeavours. You have been so good to me and I would like you to know that I am grateful for everything. I will miss you and I will take all your professional advices with me. Thank you my Buccaneer family, you all will always be at heart,” wrote the 30-year-old.
