The Siya crew has been informed that the former Algerian national team coach is in South Africa and is interested in working in the Premier Soccer League.
Algerian-born mentor Adel Amrouche, who was linked with the Kaizer Chiefs head coaching job a few years ago, is understood to be interested in working for Soweto giants, Orlando Pirates, as well as Amakhosi, should the vacancy open up.

Pressure has been mounting on Pirates head coach Josef Zinnbauer, with recent reports suggesting that his job is on the line if the Buccaneers do not make major improvements.
Pirates are no longer in the race to win the DStv Premiership title and they have a mountain to climb when they take on Raja Casablanca in their second leg CAF Confederation Cup quarterfinal clash away from home this weekend.
Despite winning the MTN8 earlier this season, Zinnbauer has come under loads of pressure and it's unclear if he will still be in charge come the start of the 2021/22 campaign.
Amrouche, who holds a Uefa Pro License, has tons of experience working on the continent, at both national team and club level, and would not be fazed by the challenge of working for a top club in South Africa. He has worked for Libya, Kenya and Burundi, and has worked for top Algerian clubs, USM Alger and MC Alger.
According to information received by the Siya crew, Amrouche's contract with Botswana is set to expire at the end of June and he is interested in taking on a big coaching role in South Africa. Indications are that he will not renew his contract with Botswana.
