An agent representing one of the Orlando Pirates stars has confirmed a failed attempt to send the player on loan.
Following his lack of game time since his arrival at the Buccaneers, Zambian winger Austin Muwowo has been linked with a loan move, and as confirmed by the player’s representative Nawa Nyambe their attempt to send the 24-year-old elsewhere in the 2020/21 season has been unsuccessful.

“We wanted to get him a loan out, but I think the coach said he couldn’t let him go, (saying) he’s still good and that he wants to play him this season. We’ll see how it goes, because he is a very good player,” said the representative, as reported in edition 1198 of Soccer Laduma.

“We have a very good relationship with Orlando Pirates, and we will continue to do so (listen to the club regarding their plans for Muwowo),” he added.
The 2019 Zambian Footballer of the Year has not featured in any of the match day squads for Pirates so far this season, however, as the Next-Gen Sports Agency representative has confirmed the talented player is in the plans at Pirates under head coach Josef Zinnbauer and his technical team.
