Orlando Pirates continued their high turnover of players in the off season, with several exits and arrivals confirmed by the club.
A few who departed have since found new homes, while others – now free agents – are still desperately on the hunt for clubs where they can find regular game-time.
Overall, as many as 19 players were either placed on the transfer list, loaned out or did not have their contracts renewed. A few others returned from loan spells the season before and not all of them have stayed on to fight to make an impression, like Ayanda Nkosi.
Marshall Munetsi clinched himself a deal in France and Thamsanqa Gabuza shocked the football fraternity by joining SuperSport United.

It is not a foregone conclusion that once the loan deals have lapsed, the players will become regulars at Pirates, so they have the current season to prove their worth.
