A top defender from the Democratic Republic of the Congo is linked with a move to the DStv Premiership with Gauteng likely to be his destination in the new season.
Having helped Zambia’s topflight club Red Arrows to win the 2021/22 FAZ Super League championship, Tresor Yamba has emerged as a target for a few clubs in Mzansi according to sources, though the player’s representatives prefer keeping their cards close to their chest at this stage.

“Tresor Yamba is Red Arrows’ Player of the Year, and he is keen to play in the PSL next season. The 23-year-old was very instrumental in helping Red Arrows to win the Zambian Premier League,” said the source.

Yamba’s football affairs are handled at renowned agency P Management under Karabo Mathang-Tshabuse and the Siya crew has been reliably informed that the player’s representatives are working on a potential move to a Gauteng-based club for the centre-back.
“As a P Management representative, I can confirm that our client has given us a mandate to secure him a move to South Africa for next season. Tresor’s contract with Red Arrows expires in 2024. The boy is arguably the best centre-back in the Zambian League at the moment,” confirmed the intermediary.
