Orlando Pirates have provided an important update about one of the team’s stars ahead of the Soweto Derby this weekend.
The Buccaneers will host Kaizer Chiefs at Orlando Stadium on Saturday aiming to get back to winning ways to keep their chances in the title race on track, after dropping points in their DStv Premiership clash on Tuesday against TS Galaxy.
With Josef Zinnbauer and the team set to be without Bafana Bafana international defender Innocent Maela in the Soweto Derby due to suspension after he picked his fourth yellow card of the season against Galaxy, the club has confirmed that Terrence Dzvukamanja is set for a late fitness test.
“Meanwhile, Orlandopiratesfc.com can confirm that Terrence Dzvukamanja is due to undergo a late fitness test before he is given the green light by the Bucs medical team. The Zimbabwean international complained about neck pain ahead of the Maritzburg United game and has since been receiving treatment,” Pirates confirmed on the club’s official website.
