A move to the DStv Premiership is pending for an international midfielder who has been plying his trade in Europe in recent months.
After being linked with Cape Town City's Abbubaker Mobara, as reported by the Siya crew, AmaZulu could be set to conclude a deal with Abraham Majok, with indications that talks are at an advanced stage to bring the player on board in this transfer window.
Majok is South Sudanese but also has Australian citizenship. Having started his career in Australia with the West Sydney Wanderers U21 side before graduating to the senior team in 2017, the attack-minded player who is able to play on both wings as well as as a striker, went on to play for Central Coast Mariners, also in Australia.
The 23-year-old has been on the books of PAEEK in Cyprus since 2020 and according to sources in the know, discussions between the parties for the lanky attacker look promising.
With just days before the transfer closes, Majok looks set to potentially be added to Benni McCarthy’s squad.
