A decision on an Orlando Pirates midfielder whose future has been in doubt in recent weeks is expected in the not-so-distant future.
After only three appearances this season which amount to just 25 minutes of football in Pirates’ DStv Premiership campaign, the future of Siphesihle Ndlovu with the Soweto giants has become increasingly in doubt.
During the January transfer window, Ndlovu had been linked with a move back to his former club Maritzburg United.
However, Bucs opted not to sign nor release any players at the halfway mark of the season, with the club having their busy schedule in minds which includes playing in the CAF Confederation Cup.
According to sources, Ndlovu has also been keen on a loan move that would help him to get some minutes on the field to boost his match fitness.
Having joined the Buccaneers in 2019 from the Team of Choice, the 25-year-old will see the three-year contract he signed with the club come to an end in June.
Indications from sources close to Bucs are that the club has not yet indicated if the versatile player will have his deal extended, with a final decision on his future expected to be made towards the end of the season.
