A Chippa United midfield sensation is confident about the Eastern Cape team’s chances of avoiding relegation this season.
After winning one and playing two draws from their last three matches, the Chilli Boys have moved to 12th on the DStv Premiership log with four matches remaining in their campaign.

In their next match, the Gqeberha-based outfit will host high-flying Cape Town City at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Wednesday and Chippa’s exciting young winger Azola Matrose is confident about the team’s chances of adding to their points tally.
“The mood in our camp is good because the results have been improving and we have been fighting to get better. We are trying our best to move away from the relegation zone because we don’t want to go down,” said Matrose, speaking to the Siya crew.

“We can’t afford to lose in any of our remaining matches and the aim is that if we don’t win, we should at least draw. Losing would put us in danger of going back to that relegation battle and that is not what we want to experience. We have to fight,” the 19-year-old added.
