Former Black Leopards coach, Luc Eymael, has apologised for the inappropriate remarks he made about his current club Young Africans (Yanga) – the Tanzanian outfit that he is currently coaching.
Reports emerged this weekend that the Belgian coach lashed out at the management of the club on Saturday about the team's accomodation before today's final league match of the season.
Eymael reportedly blasted the club for booking the team in a hotel he referred to as ‘substandard’, while he also complained about having to travel to the match by road for six hours.
The former Free State Stars coach has since taken to social media to apologise to the club and supporters for his comments.
“I want to sincerely apologize to the people of Tanzania, Yanga’s leaders, supporters and sponsors about the podcast that came out. Those are not words of Luc Eymael those are words of pure frustration, disappointment and emotions after a disappointing result that made us lose our second place,” Eymael apologised
