Following his team’s 3-0 loss, Black Leopards coach Luc Eymael believes his charges didn’t play badly against Chippa United.
Lidoda Duvha were defeated by the Chilli Boys at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium on Wednesday evening and are 13th on the Absa Premiership log.
The Belgian coach believes his side had a better second half after a disappointing start with conceding a goal in the opening five minutes.
“What went wrong yesterday, I think…perhaps the players didn’t stick well to the plan of playing in the first half, unfortunately,” Eymael told the Siya crew.
“Perhaps, lack of concentration and not focusing enough in the first half. I told them yesterday that ‘Your biggest enemy is you.’ I told them that before the game. Unfortunately, silly mistakes and we conceded two silly goals from the centre. Perhaps, (there was) lack of commitment in the first half. We rectified things in the second half and we were very good,” the coach said.
