Lerato Chabangu’s club is excited for the former Mamelodi Sundowns star's imminent debut in their colours.
Since joining third tier club Baberwa FC, Chabangu had his debut with the team delayed as he has been working on regaining his fitness.
The ex-Bafana Bafana midfielder has been with the Gauteng-based ABC Motsepe League outfit since the beginning of the year.
The club has been patient with the 34-year-old in wanting to give him another opportunity to play football again, and to make amends for lost time.
After making the substitute bench in some matches in recent weeks, Baberwa has confirmed that Chabangu will be in the starting XI for this afternoon’s fixture against African All Stars FC.
“You’ve been asking about him and today we can confirm that Lerato ‘All You Need Is Love’ Chabangu will be in the starting XI when we take on African All Stars FC this afternoon at KwaThema Stadium in Springs,” the club confirmed on Twitter.
In an earlier tweet, the club revealed ‘Breaking News’ in alerting their supporters to the Chabangu’s progress.
