With Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates linked with players from Chippa United, a potential move seems in doubt for Maloisane Mokhele, as the 2021/22 season nears an end.
Following his remarkable first season in the topflight where he amassed 28 league appearances for the Chilli Boys in the 2020/21 campaign, Mokhele attracted interest from Pirates, among other clubs, as confirmed by sources in the know.

The Buccaneers have been monitoring the player and have been expected to make a decision on whether to make a formal offer for his services at the end of the current season, only for the 25-year-old's progess to be hindered by injury.

“It is unfortunate that Maloisane Mokhele is currently injured because he has been doing well and has had clubs showing interest in his services. Pirates and a few other clubs in the PSL have showed interest in the boy and have been monitoring him only for (the player) to be disrupted by injury in his progress. But it’s football and such things happen, and he will come back strong though it’s unclear if that will happen this season. Regarding a possible move, only time will tell,” said the source.
As reported by the Siya crew, a few other players from the Gqeberha-based outfit have been linked with moves, with striker Bienvenu Eva Nga and defender Veluyeke Zulu linked with Chiefs and AmaZulu, respectively.
