The Vodacom NXT LVL Boot Camp will be held at the High Performance Centre in Pretoria on Monday 26 September 2016. One hundred aspiring footballers - both boys and girls from around the country - will spend a week being put through their paces by South African footballing legends Mark Fish, Lucas Radebe, Edward Motale, Cyril Nzama, Portia Modise and Simphiwe Dludlu.
The campaign saw Vodacom go on a journey with some of South Africa’s soccer legends, giving aspiring soccer players between the ages of 14 and 16 the platform to showcase their footballing ability, and stand a chance to form part of an elite 100 players at the Boot Camp.
During the week they will undergo a series of scientific tests that professional footballers go through. The 100 players will be trimmed to 32 players. Those who make the cut will play an exhibition match at Tuks Stadium on Sunday. The winning 16 players will be awarded a bursary to the Tuks Sports High School for the remainder of their high school career and the other 16 will have R50 000 contributed towards their education.
