Sekhukhune United coach MacDonald Makhubedu is confident that one of the side's key players will remain with the club next season, despite growing interest in his services.
Maart has been outstanding for the DStv Premiership newbies, securing a national team call-up, but according to his coach, the midfielder won't be leaving anytime soon.
"I'm always with the boy, he is happy at the club. We are looking after him, I haven't heard any offers from other clubs. He knows the club and we are not expecting him to leave because he is loyal to the club," Makhubedu told the media.
Chiefs are planning to reduce the average age of the squad, are these players safe?
As previously reported in edition 1247 of Soccer Laduma, Kaizer Chiefs were expected to table a formal offer for the Bafana midfielder in the last transfer window, with Siya sources indicating that AmaZulu also showed interest in the player, who has established himself at the highest level.
The coach further says that the club won't be making any drastic changes for next season, as the management and technical team are still satisfied with the current crop of players.
"We are very happy with the team. I don't think we will make any changes in the team, the boys have done well."
With an overhaul expected at Naturena, it is believed that Chiefs could rekindle their interest in Maart in the upcoming window.
