English Premier League

Teams: Liverpool v Manchester United

Date: 19 January 2020

Venue: Old Trafford

Manchester United will be looking to become the first side to defeat Liverpool in the Premier League this season when England's most successful sides clash at Anfield - Here's how they line up.

The match is scheduled to get underway at 18h30.

The Red Devils are the only blemish on Liverpool's near perfect record in the league this season after the two sides played to a 1-1 draw at Old Trafford earlier in the season.

United have got their top-four push back on track after a 4-0 win over Norwich City last weekend, while they advanced to the fourth round of the FA Cup with victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men can move within two points of fourth-place Chelsea, who suffered a shock 1-0 loss to Newcastle United on Saturday.

With regards to the title race, the Reds have been head and shoulders above everybody else as they sit 13 points above Manchester City, who draw 2-2 with Palace on Sunday.

Jurgen Klopp's men have only dropped points on one ocassion this season, which was the draw United, but they will be looking to make it right by defeating Solskjaer's side.

The Reds claimed a 3-1 victory in this fixture last season, which proved to be Jose Mourinho's final game in charge of United.

Here's how they line up:

Liverpool: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson; Henderson, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Wijnaldum; Salah, Mané, Firmino.

Manchester United: De Gea; Wan-Bissaka, Lindelöf, Maguire, Shaw, Williams; Andreas, Fred, Matic; James, Martial.
