Masilela: Chiefs Will Respect Opponents
Kaizer Chiefs left back, Tsepo Masilela has maintained that the Amakhosi will not undermine their oppponents ahead of their Nedbank Cup tie.
The Amakhosi have been drawn against Gauteng SAB Regional League outfit, Edu Sports, in the last 32 round.
Masilela tells the Siya crew that they won't underestimate their opposition, but will respect them and play a normal game as they do with other teams as well.
"Stay focus. Play well and never underestimate your opponents. There are no easy games these days mainly when it comes to cup games.
“We know that they will come well motivated and looking forward to proving a point as they play against Chiefs at Soccer City.
“For us we want to win this one and go all the way in the tournament. We just need to respect them," Masilela observed.
They last claimed the Nedbank Cup in the 2012/2013 season when Stuart Baxter first arrived at the club, and will once again be aiming to go a step closer to getting their hands on the R6 million trophy.
The Glamour Boys are the most successful team in the tournament having claimed 13 titles.
