Kaizer Chiefs will host Black Leopards on the afternoon of Human Rights Day, while Orlando Pirates will be playing against SuperSport United later that day in the last 16 of the Nedbank Cup.
The Nedbank Cup last 16 schedule has been confirmed by the PSL today (Thursday), following a meeting of the organising committee this morning.
The draw for the last 16 was conducted on February 26.
The PSL confirmed that Bidvest Wits and the University of Pretoria will get the last 16 stage of this season’s Nedbank Cup underway, with their game on March 17.
Their game is scheduled for the Bidvest Stadium from 19h30.
“This will be followed by a match between Ajax Cape Town and Bloemfontein Celtic at Athlone Stadium on Friday, 20 March 2015,” the PSL revealed in a statement.
The game is scheduled to start at 20h00.
“On Humans Rights Day, Saturday 21 March 2015, there will be four fixtures. At 15h00, Black Aces will host Jomo Cosmos at the Mbombela Stadium and Maluti FET College will travel to Cape Town to face fellow National First Division side, Milano United at the Philippi Stadium.
“At 17h30, Kaizer Chiefs will welcome Black Leopards at the FNB Stadium.
“In what has been billed as the ‘pick of the round of 16’ fixture, SuperSport United will play Orlando Pirates on Saturday night at the Peter Mokaba Stadium in Polokwane,” the league’s statement explained.
The game between Matsatsantsa and Bucs is set to start at 20h15.
“On Sunday, 22 March 2015, Golden Arrows will be at home against Natal United, while Platinum Stars will play Mamelodi Sundowns at the Royal Bafokeng Stadium,” explained the league.
Both games on Sunday are set to start at 15h00.
