Date Set For Nedbank Draw: Who's In The Hat?
The draw for the Nedbank Cup’s Round of 16 will take place on Thursday evening as clubs discover their next opponents.
A total of 12 teams took one step closer to the final over the weekend as they did battle across South Africa, with eight teams from the Absa Premiership securing their spot in the final 16.
Meanwhile, Royal Eagles, Steenberg United, Ubuntu Cape Town and EC Bees ensured their progression, although Ubuntu were the only side to see off top-flight opposition.
There are still four games left to play on Wednesday night and the draw will take place after those matches are decided.
The teams going into the thus far are:
Cape Town City, AmaZulu, Ubuntu Cape Town, Mamelodi Sundowns, Maritzburg United, Steenberg United, Chippa United, Orlando Pirates, EC Bees, Royal Eagles, Kaizer Chiefs and Bloemfontein Celtic.
On Wednesday night Richards Bay face Bloemfontein Young Tigers, Super Eagles host Free State Stars, Platinum Stars tackle Baroka and Stellenbosch welcome Highlands Park in order to complete the 16.
The draw is due to get underway at 19h30.
