The Nedbank Cup final will take place on Saturday, June 24 and apart from a promising encounter between SuperSport United and Orlando Pirates, Nedbank has promised a fun-filled day in celebration of their 10th year anniversary.
Pirates and SuperSport locked horns in the 2016 Nedbank Cup final, where Head Coach Stuart Baxter’s side was crowned champions of the competition after defeating Pirates 3-2 on the day.
Saturday will now be a repeat fixture of the last time the two sides met in the Nedbank Cup and it remains to be seen whether Matsatsantsa is able to defend their title.
However, before the game gets underway, the head of sponsorship and cause marketing at Nedbank, revealed that the football fraternity will be in for a fun-filled experience at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday, June 24.
“Nedbank has a long history of providing fans with an unforgettable matchday experience at the Nedbank Cup final and this year promises to be our most spectacular one,” Tobie Badenhorst, the Head of Sponsorship and Cause Marketing at Nedbank said in a press release.
“We are determined to provide a great day out for the whole family at the Moses Mabhida Stadium, hence there is something for the young and old to enjoy,” he added.
Nedbank has also confirmed that prior to the start of the match, fans and supporters can take part in festivities such as a penalty shootout, Nedbank Cup photo, trophy photo and autograph booth, game zone, fan face, skill zone and Nedbank gig rig.
The match is scheduled to get underway at 20h15.
