Baxter: I Want To Use The Young Players

On Saturday Kaizer Chiefs beat Edu Sports 4-0 in the Nedbank Cup and they used some of the fringe players like Ovid Karuru, Siphiwe Mtsweni and Pule Ekstein who did very well.

Coach Stuart Baxter told the Siya crew that he will continue using the young players who have raised up their game and showed responsibility.

"The young players like Pule did very. If you use fringe players you look at the game which they are going to play as we don't want to lose the rhythm and the winning mentality that we have," Baxter said.

"We will continue to with the rotation system and see which games we can use the fringe players and how we can mix that with the experienced players.

"You know it's also about getting the results and winning games so we will give some of the fringe players chances to play."
