In announcing the player’s signing last week, Bucs confirmed that Mulenga was expected in South Africa this week. With the Soweto giants preparing for Saturday’s Nedbank Cup Last 32 match against Ajax Cape Town, Coach Milutin Sredojevic will be expected to have a closer look at Mulenga in training to make a decision on the appropriate time to include him in his matchday squad.
As confirmed by the Buccaneers, Mulenga has been signed on a three-year deal from Zanaco FC of Zambia. The 28-year-old finished as the top goalscorer with three goals for Zambia in the African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Morocco in January.
