Fiston Abdoul Razak bagged a brace to inspire Bloemfontein Celtic to a 2-1 win over NFD outfit Mbombela United to advance in the Nedbank Cup.
Mbombela went close in the 10th minute through Bongani Dladlam who forced a brilliant save out of Celtic goalkeeper, Ayanda Mtshali
The Tingwenyama were knocking the ball around brilliantly and did not give Siwelele space to play their normal game.
However in the 25th minute Phunya Sele Sele started to gain a foothold in the game and had passages of play in the opposition half.
In the 27th minute, Fiston Razak grabbed the lead for Siwelele. The striker latched onto a loose ball to fired into the bottom corner.
Lantshene Phalane nearly made it 2-0 in the 39th minute with a snap shot from just outside box, but his effort sailed narrowly wide.
The match went into the break with Siwelele leading by 1-0.
Celtic doubled their 10 minutes into the second half, as an un-marked Razak fired home from close range to grab his second goal.
Phunya Sele Sele had the match under control and were knocking the ball comfortably without really creating much going forward.
In the 72nd minute Siyanda Khumalo hit a right footed shot from just outside the box, but the Mbombela midfielder's sailed just wide of the upright.
The NFD outfit pulled a goal back in the 87th minute, as Jermaine Christian headed home from a close range after a mix-up in the box.
It was a nervy finish in the final few minutes, but Celtic managed to see out the closing stages to advance to the next round.
