Bees were really up against it on the night, but some fantastic saves from Mini kept his side in the game and he was rightly rewarded for his efforts.

Following the match the Bees goalkeeper admitted it was a dream come true and that he was extremely proud of his team’s performance against the 2016 CAF Champions League winners.

“I made five great saves, but I knew that they were going to come at us,” Mini told SuperSport after the game.

“Playing against Sundowns is a dream come true for me because it is a big team, they are Africans champions.

“It was a good game for me.”
