Goodman Dlamini's first-half goal was enough to hand Ea Lla Koto a 1-0 win over Maritzburg United in the Nedbank Cup final on Saturday.

The 35-year-old was named Man of the Match and he has revealed he still wants to continue playing with the Free State outfit.

“I would like to finish my 10th season at Free State Stars which is next season," Masehe told SuperSport after the game.

"It doesn’t matter whether I play regularly or not, I just want to finish that beautiful milestone of finishing 10 seasons in this beautiful team of ours."

After reaching a few finals in his time with Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates, this is the veteran’s first piece of silverware since turning professional.

“It comes from a whole lot of dedication, discipline and understanding what exactly the coach wants. The demands of the game also to respect yourself as a professional soccer player.

“To know that each time in your career, there are certain things you need to cut in your life and have to concentrate only on football.

“And I hope this is an example to upcoming youngsters that it is possible. It doesn’t matter how difficult, you can still reach this milestone wherever you are."
