Three unanswered goals in the second half by Ryan Moon, Bernard Parker and Joseph Molangoane gave them a 3-0 victory at the FNB Stadium.
“It’s great to win and progress to the next stage. It wasn’t easy. In the first half, I don’t think we played according to our game-plan. We were very poor," Khune told SuperSport after the game.
“The coach gave us a tongue-lashing at the break and we came out better in the second half. So I think we always need to get that before playing our best game."
Given the amount of goals will please the Amakhosi masses, the Bafana Bafana number one believes they could have add more to the table, but they just happy to advance.
“That’s been the story of ourselves. We could have scored more, but we’re happy to progress to the next stage,” he said.
