Khune Injury Just A Minor Knock

Itumeleng Khune’s injury in Kaizer Chiefs’ 4-0 win against Edu Sports in the Nedbank Cup on Saturday was just a minor knock.
The former Bafana Bafana captain had to be replaced by Reyaad Pieterse in the second half of the match, after a collision with one of his own team-mates.
However it seems that the change was merely a precaution, and Khune said after the game, he should be okay for their next match against Township Rollers in the CAF Champions League next Saturday.
“PLEASE DON’T WORRY good people,” Khune said on his official Instagram account.
“It’s a minor injury and few scratches. I should train in our next training session to get read for the CL match in Botswana. #GODisGREAT #kcinspire #kcofficial #32”
