Despite losing 4-0 to Kaizer Chiefs in a Nedbank Cup, Last 32 match on Saturday afternoon, Edu Sports FC coach Johannes Mudau says he is proud of his boys.
Mudau also added that the experience of playing against the Amakhosi will help them in their domestic league.
“I’m very proud of the boys,” said Mudau.
“They did well, even though you could realize that they don’t have the same experience. Chiefs were superior to them.
“At least they tried to do well. In the first half, they contained them.
“Unfortunately their fitness was evident in the second half and our concentration began to lapse.
“I’m very happy for the boys, they did well under the circumstances.
“The players have gained valuable experience.
“I think they will take what they have gained here and take it to the league games and win everything that is on offer.”
