The Brazilians host the NFD side in Tshwane for their last 32 Nedbank Cup game on Saturday afternoon.
“At this stage of the season we are not taking anything lightly. The next match is always the most important one for us and right now the Nedbank Cup match against Thanda Royal Zulu tops the agenda.
“We can’t afford to think about the league or the Champions League match right now because that would be total disrespect for our opponent. Then after the cup game, the most important match will be the next one and so forth.
“We have done our homework and we strongly believe that our opponents will bring their A-game, which means we also have to be at our best. Now if both sides come out to play good football, then the spectators will definitely enjoy the football on display.
“The Nedbank Cup is very special competition and we hope that at the sound of the final whistle we will be the victorious side which advances to the last 16, Schut told Sundowns’ official website.
