Amakhosi and Ea Lla Koto are scheduled to play their Nedbank Cup semi-final match at Durban’s Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday.
Going in the all-important match for both teams and with the 2017/18 season approaching its final stages, certain players might want to impress with a view of attracting offers to greener pastures in the new season.
From the Bethlehem outfit, the likes of Sinethemba Jantjie and Nyiko Mobbie are some of the players that have been previously linked with Chiefs, while the likes of Patrick Phungwayo and Mohammed Anas would be keen on making moves, after making significant progress with the team.
Anas is Stars’ top goalscorer with his five strikes this season.
With 49 shots – 14 of them on target, 27 shot assists and 93 crosses, Jantjie is one of the top performing players for his team and in the league this season. Apart from Chiefs, the winger has also been linked to other clubs, including PSL giants, Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates.
Having previously played for Pirates, Phungwayo would be keen on making a move to another big club in his career. The left-back has been impressive under Luc Eymael, making 1043 touches from the matches he has played, with the 820 passes for the defender also worth mentioning.
The match gets underway on Saturday at 20:15.
