Bernard Morrison: 8/10
Morrison scored a brilliant brace on his return to the Pirates line-up. He was a threat from the onset and combined well with Shonga.
Justin Shonga: 7/10
Shonga showed some good movement and touches in the final third . He also set up Morrison's first goal just before the break.
Happy Jele: 7/10
Jele was very disciplined and gave nothing away. His experience was pivotal to Pirates keeping a clean sheet.
Fagrie Lakay: 6.5/10
Lakay was a handful for the Buccaneers defence on the right wing. He created at least two clear-cut chances for Ndoro to finish but he was not clinical enough.
Gladwin Shitolo: 7/10
Alongside Jele, Shitolo has been a stalwart in the Buccaneers in recent games and he put in another solid showing against Ajax.
Thembinkosi Lorch: 6.5/10
Lorch supported Morrison and Shonga well upfront with some good movement, as he played a part in the opening goal.
Siboniso Gaxa: 4/10
Gaxa had not kicked a ball in before this match for the whole season and he showed he still lacks match fitness.
John Takwara: 4/10
Takwara was often overrun in in midfield. His decision making also let him down at times.
Siyanda Zwane: 4/10
Zwane struggled to deal with Pirates attacks down the left flank. He was also easily shrugged off the ball for Morrison's second goal.
Rodrick Kabwe: 4/10
Kabwe had no impact in the match whatsoever. He did not bring his “A” game in the encounter.
