Oupa Manyisa : 8/10
The Orlando Pirates captain was outstanding tonight. He was creative in the middle of the park and played with verve. He also scored the third goal.
Mpho Makola : 8/10
The former Free State Stars midfielder scored a brilliant goal in the opening half, and also played a vital role in Pirates' second goal.
Issa Sarr: 7/10
The Senegalese midfielder worked tirelessly in the engine room and kept the Pirates play going.
Happy Jele: 7/10
The industrious defender was good in the heart of defence. He brought stability in the centre-back position that has been problematic for the Bucs.
Thembinkosi Lorch: 7/10
The Bucs midfield trickster did relatively well going forward. He was very difficult to contain for Free State Stars and also got on the score-sheet.
Sinethemba Jantjie: 6/10
The Free State Stars attacker was lively, especially in the first half but did not get enough support from his fellow attackers.
Moeketsi Sekola: 4/10
The striker had a bad showing by his standards. He was anonymous upfront for Free State Stars throughout.
Christoffer Mafoumbi: 4/10
The goalkeeper conceded four goals and never really showed any presence between the sticks.
Joseph Okumu: 4/10
The centre-back scored an own goal and had a game to forget. His confidence dipped after the own goal.
Ayanda Gcaba: 5/10
The defender was shaky in the first half although he improved in the second-half. Sifiso Mbele scored the equaliser for Free State Stars with a header that Gcaba should have dealt with.
