Joining a club in the National First Division could be one of the options for Mogakolodi Ngele if he wants to play regular football this season.
The Botswana international player’s lack of game-time and an unclear future at Mamelodi Sundowns could lead to him contemplating joining a team in the NFD, according to sources, as he is seemingly not in the plans this season.
The 27-year-old is believed to have attracted interest from Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila FC in the NFD, although he is unlikely to join the team now or any other team for now as the transfer window has closed.
“Ngele is in a difficult situation at the moment without playing. I heard that TTM has been interested in signing him and that he was considering joining the club. I’m not sure what happened there, but there was no agreement for them in the end,” said the source as reported in edition 1090 of Soccer Laduma.
“All this happened during the time the club was also trying to recruit former PSL players like David Zulu and Edward Manqele. Both Zulu and Manqele have since been signed by the club,” added the source.
