Bucs Maintain Winning Start, Chiefs Suffer First Loss

Kaizer Chiefs 2-3 Highlands Park 
 
Kaizer Chiefs lost their first game of the MultiChoice Diski Challenge season after going down 3-2 to Highlands Park in a five-goal fest on Sunday afternoon at Dobsonville Stadium.
 
Kutlwano Ntholeng grabbed a brace to put Highlands two goals up, before  Eric Tivane made it 3-0 on the hour-mark.
 
Innocent Nzaman and Yassen Bunting gave Arthur Zwane’s troops hope in the final 10 minutes, but Highlands were able to hold on for the win.
 
Highlands moved up to 12th on the table with their first points of the season, while Amakhosi dropped to eighth with three points.
 
Bidvest Wits 4-1 AmaZulu 
 
Bidvest won their first game of the campaign after drubbing AmaZulu 4-1 on Saturday morning at Bidvest Stadium.
 
Bayanda Shangase gave Usuthu an early lead in the first stanza but Milik Mashinini levelled matters for the Clever Boys just before the break.
 
Kabelo Makola, Molahlehi Khunyedi and Athenkosi Mcaba all netted in the second stanza for Wits, to complete the rout and all the three points.
 
Orlando Pirates 1-0 Black Leopards 
 
Orlando Pirates maintained their winning start to the MDC campaign after edging Black Leopards 1-0 on Saturday morning at Rand Stadium.
 
Lehlohonolo Sepeng netted the only goal of the match for the Buccaneers five minutes after the break, which proved to be the winner.
 
Bucs won their second successive match and moved up to second on the table with six points, while Lidoda Duvha sit fourth-from-bottom.
 
Bloemfontein Celtic 3-2 Golden Arrows 
 
Tebogo Motloung netted late for Bloemfontein Celtic to clinch their first victory of the season after edging Golden Arrows 3-2, in a five-goal thriller on Sunday morning at Dr Molemela Stadium.
 
Kamohelo Mohoje grabbed an early lead for Siwelele in the eighth minute and Xolani Mpata doubled their five minutes after the break.
 
Abafana Bes’thende rallied to find two goals in quick succession to make it 2-2 but Motloung netted three minutes before time for the defending champions to clinch all the three points.
