Orlando Pirates captain Happy Jele has revealed his team’s plans for this season’s MTN8 trophy.
With the MTN8 fixtures for the 2018/19 season confirmed last week, this year’s competition has been officially launched at Johannesburg Park Station on Monday.
The Buccaneers are set to get their MTN8 campaign underway with a match against defending champions SuperSport United on Saturday next week.
Speaking to the media at the launch, Jele confirmed that it is Bucs’ aim to go all the way in the competition as they seek to win a trophy.
“I think for us it’s very important as Orlando Pirates is a big brand and it’s been a while without getting silverware. This is going to motivate each and everyone in the team for this coming season. We just have to perform very well and try to bag this trophy,” said Jele.
