Breaking: Judgement Given In AmaZulu/MTN8 Interdict Matter
Court Rules In AmaZulu/MTN8 Interdict Matter
The Premier Soccer League confirmed that the court has ruled in the matter brought by AmaZulu in attempting to interdict the start of the MTN8.
As reported yesterday (Tuesday), judgement had been reserved in the AmaZulu matter and the club's attempts to interdict the start of the MTN8, after the KwaZulu-Natal outfit went to the South Gauteng High Court to attempt to interdict the start of the competition.
AmaZulu have been unhappy that they lost their place in the top eight of the PSL log standings due to SuperSport United overtaking them after being awarded three of the nine points docked from Ajax Cape Town when the Mother City outfit was found guilty in the Tendai Ndoro saga and subsequently relegated to the NFD.
The PSL has confirmed that Judge Fisher has struck the application brought by Amazulu off the court roll while the Durban-based club has been ordered to pay costs.
