With the MTN8 semi-final rounds scheduled to take place on the 10th and 11th of September, the four remaining teams will be seeking to get closer to the cash prize at stake!
Saturday evening will see Bidvest Wits take on Eric Tinkler’s Cape Town City FC. With both teams in fine form, this cup clash promises to be a tough battle. Wits have known to be hard to beat at their home ground and will look to their home crowd to be their 12th man on the day.
The Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium will see-off an afternoon encounter between Chippa United and Mamelodi Sundowns. Both sides have had a good run in form. Sundowns are seeking to add more silverware to their cabinet at Chloorkop, but they have a fierce battle against the Chilli Boys who display the most attractive football in the local league.
The second leg of the semi-final rounds will take place on the 17th and 21st of September, as Cape Town City host Bidvest Wits and Mamelodi Sundowns face Chippa United, respectively.
