Komphela: We're Not Feeling Good
Kaizer Chiefs coach Steve Komphela cut a disappointed figure after his side were knocked out of the MTN8 on Friday.
The Amakhosi were beaten 1-0 by new outfit Cape Town City thanks to a seventh-minute winner from Matt Sim.
The visitors fell short in the final third as they struggled to get their shots on target, despite enjoying a lot of possession and creating a number of chances.
Komphela said: "We tried battling it out. We tried our best to get the equaliser, but we just couldn't. If we could score the equaliser things would have changed.
"I think we knocked quite enough to find a goal. There was quite a number of them where you thought 'it's coming' but it didn't.
"The biggest mistake was conceding from the counter attack. I think we could have dealt better with that.
"We're not feeling good. We wanted to progress in the tournament, but we couldn't. Players did their utmost but we couldn't get anything."
