Gabadinho Mhango: 8/10
Mhango was undoubtedly the best player on the pitch, having picked up a goal and assist against during his time on the pitch.
Eleazar Rodgers: 7/10
Rodgers was a constant threat to the City defence, most notably Tshepo Gumede, who failed to deal his physical approach, while he scored an impressive goal.
Ben Motshwari: 6.5/10
The Wits midfielder ran the show from the middle of the park and was key to helping Wits dominate in the first half.
Thulani Hlatshwayo: 6.5/10
The Wits skipper gave the City attackers no joy around the 18-yard area, which forced the visitors to shoot from distance
Sifiso Hlanti: 6.5
Defensively sound against Ngoma or Manyama, while he also offered another attacking outlet down the left flank.
Elias Pelembe: 7/10
Pelembe tormented the City the defence from the onset down the right flank and was rewarded with a well-taken goal in the first half.
Tshepo Gumede: 4/10
Struggled to deal with the physical presence of Eleazar Rodgers and committed the error which led to Mhango's goal.
Lehlohonolo Majoro: 4/10
A very in-effective display from the former Orlando Pirates striker, who had no joy against the Wits defence and cut a frustrated figure throughout the match.
Mpho Matsi: 4/10
Struggled in the first half, as City were overrun in the middle of the park. He offered nothing going forward and was replaced at halftime.
Aubrey Ngoma: 4/10
The skillful winger offered nothing going forward and had no joy on either flank. Anonymous for the full 90 minutes.
