In issue 1183 of Soccer Laduma, the midfielder was asked whether following discussions with the head coach regarding his future, he feels that he could still be in the German mentor’s plans going forward, despite being left out of the squad in the past few months.
“When we spoke the last time, there was self-belief from him. There were certain things that he saw and certain things which he appreciates and sees and there’s certain things he didn’t know I have. So, I’d say from the conversations we have been having, there is a chance, you know,” Mlambo went on to say.
“He has said a lot, to be honest. The opportunity (to play) might not come now. It might come later and if it happens that it does not come, then it’s life. We spoke and he aligned a lot of things to me. Honestly, I am glad we had the conversations we had because they helped an individual grow as well. There are certain things you probably don’t know about yourself and you can discover them from other people,” the midfielder added.
