Stellenbosch FC midfielder Nathan Sinkala is attracting interest from a few clubs in the DStv Premiership as the player is set to leave the Western Cape outfit at the end of the season, the Siya crew has learnt.
Having joined Stellies in January 2020 from Democratic Republic of the Congo giants TP Mazembe, Sinkala will see his contract with the Cape side expire at the end of next month, with the indications from close sources that the deal is unlikely to be renewed as previously reported by the Siya crew.
According to sources, the Zambian international’s situation at Stellenbosch is monitored by AmaZulu and newly promoted Richards Bay FC.
“Nathan Sinkala is in search of a new home. The Zambian international will be a free agent in June 2022 and he could be set to join one of the five topflight clubs in KZN in his next deal,” said the source.
The 31-year-old defensive midfielder featured in 18 matches under Steve Barker in Stellies’ impressive 2021/22 league campaign.
