In-form Orlando Pirates could be closing in on a Congolese international striker, according to reports, before the local transfer window deadline at the end of the month.
With the team oozing with confidence after their 2-0 win over Kaizer Chiefs on Sunday and 5-0 on aggregate to knock their arch-rivals out of the MTN8, reports in the Democratic Republic of the Congo are linking AS Vita striker Jean-Marc Mundele Makusu with the Buccaneers.

“Mundele, who has returned from a long period of injury, will try to win in this formation, which will play in the 2020-2021 African Confederation Cup. He who is still Vita Club's top scorer in African competitions with more than 60 goals scored, is looking to revive himself in a new championship. The former black dolphin striker wants to bring his experience to the blacks and whites of Soweto,” the DRC publication states.
Bucs still have a foreign space in their squad after registering Terrence Dzvukamanja, Richard Ofori, Deon Hotto and Austin Muwowo, while Gabadinho Mhango has been registered as a local.
