According to reports, the Gabon national team arrived at the Banjul International Airport in Gambia after 11pm on Sunday night but the players were forced to spend the night on the floor until around 6am on Monday morning, before finally proceeding to a hotel in a bus.

It has been reported that Gambia authorities allegedly demanded that Gabon conducted new Covid-19 tests, even though they had already submitted their results well in advance and on time.
